This topic is as easy to answer as one plus one equaling two. The children of military families have to endure the hardships of having their parent put their life on the line for their country. The parents or parent are deployed and miss out on valuable time to be with their child and this hardship is very difficult on the family. No one can put a price tag on the stress and hardships that these military families have to endure, to ensure all Americans can go to bed at night a free nation. College tuition discounts is just another small token of thanks that the American Colleges offer in return for the sacrifice they have made. The American people owe it to these families who give so much of themselves and ask for nothing in return.
If you are opposed to giving military families college discount you should be reminded that because of them you can go to college and get a education that isn't available in countries such as Iraq, Russia, China, Iran, Africa, and many other nations in which the people aren't free to go to college and study what they want to.
