Assessing Wal-Mart's treatment of employees

People that complain about how Wal-Mart treats its employees fail to realize that they are just doing good business. Nothing they do is ethically or legally wrong. All the complaints that are filed fall on the deaf ears of Americans who continue to shop and spend money at the American store. Sure Wal-Mart doesn't buy American products often, they do however provide cheap products to millions of low-income and middle class Americans. Their treatment of their employees doesn't matter to most Americans just like the fact that Wal-Mart buys their products from China.

If these employees are treated so poorly why don't they quit and find a job else where. I recognize that some of their employees can't because they need the money but is that Wal-Mart's fault? No. Sam Walton didn't go into business to treat employees better then any of their competitors, but rather to sell products for less then their competition. Anyone who complains about the treatment of Wal-Mart's employees needs to realize that business is like a war and companies will do anything to stay ahead of their competition. After all Americans continue to buy their products and shop at their stores despite the best demonstrations and legal fights that Wal-Mart faces.
