Global warming: What's the real truth?

By now we all know about Global Warming and CO2 emissions. The Polar Caps are melting, Venice is sinking, forests fires increase, jellyfish overtake most of the Mediterranean Sea (two-thirds to be exact) and our taxes get bigger and bigger. Everybody knows the story as newspapers from Europe to Asia and beyond talk constantly about it, economists decide on which 1% of the world we would loose and the odd movie comes out. But are we being told the real truth or are we being duped by the media, again?

It was the 1950's, my friend John was working as a meteorologist. People all over the Globe were horrified at the finding that the Earth was freezing. Polar caps were expanding everyday. By the arrival of the New Millennium, millions of people would have died frozen. It was the Eve of a new Ice Age. At about the same time, Al Gore's professor discovered the effect of CO2 emissions.

1999. Among horrifying advertisements about HIV/AIDS, a small boy sees this warning about a hole being created in the Ozone Layer. By 2030 millions will die, our deodorants and fridges were the worst factors. 2001, an issue of Diario Del Bolsillo' (The Pocket Newspaper) tells of how a nuclear power plant in Texas creates gases that repair' the Ozone Layer. This was one of the first reports about a problem which we now call Global Dimming.

2007, present day, people don't talk about the hole in the Ozone Layer anymore. Apparently we are now making the Layer thick. UV rays are being trapped in our Planet heating it up. We have caused this by the smoke from our cars and our factories. All of these theories are rubbish, the truth is much more sinister than this, and we have no control over it whatsoever.

Most of us are humanists, we believe we are the center of our universe. We believe that we are destroying ourselves and our future, yet even now we can fix it. The truth is that just like any other animal, we are only inhabitants of the Earth. We stand on top of the crust: the outer layer of the Earth which is only about 60km deep. we drift on top of semi molten rock; also known as the mantle and the mantle is on top of the Core which controls the Earth.

Back in the 1980's, English scientists discovered that every 3000 years or so the Magnetic Point of the planet changes. This means that our compass points to the north because the Core tells it to. Polarization: as it's properly known is the change of Magnetic Point. Scientists expect that polarization will happen around the year 2060. Already our compasses are a few degrees off the North. Polarization changes the climate, hence we have our hot and cold periods.

I am not saying that we should pollute, quite the contrary. What I am telling you know is that humans are only the tip of the iceberg in this Global Warming. Mother Nature takes her course as she pleases and does not obey any of our laws. We now have to embrace and adapt to this changes or we will melt, literally.
