Yogurt is about as varied today as ice cream. Even people that "didn't like it before" may find it easier to swallow once they pile candies or granola on top. There are all types of flavors, textures and colors to suit even the pickiest of palates.
This may improve your friendly bacteria upon finishing antibiotics or in the case of a yeast infection. It contains a big word with big benefits "acidophiles". But consume with caution, not all yogurts contain the same amount of nutrition for your dollar.
Ounce for ounce, it is one of the cheapest, quickest ways to nourish your body in a hurry and give it a treat all rolled into one.
Under stress, down some yogurt and feel the calm wash over you. Go ahead, two cartons a day won't hurt. No spoon? In a hurry? You can even wash down a yogurt smoothie pre-made or one of your own concoctions.
Since yogurt contains quite a bit of protein, you will stay satisfied and full longer eating this. It's also a great delicacy before or after a workout.
Consuming yogurt can also improve skin tone or complexion and help your body use calories more efficiently. And when you're eating a healthier snack with yogurt, you leave less room for junk food!
Next time you're wondering what to eat, reach for a carton of your favorite yogurt or try a new flavor!
