The decision to blog rests on you. It all depends on whether or not you feel that you have something to say, whether it's personal or otherwise. For example, if you have a large interest in baseball, then you might want to start a blog where you talk about the recent events in the sport. If you're into technology, then maybe you want to talk about new products that are on the market and your personal experiences with them. Or maybe you just have a lot to talk about and want to express your thoughts to whoever stumbles across your blog.

As long as you can set up a blog, update it at regular intervals and feel that you have something to say, then go for it. It might take a while for people to actually come across it online, but you won't know if it's worthwhile or not unless you take the plunge.
