Is it really worth it to make a blog?
Article ToolsOne of the best reasons for an online blog is to know there are people reading your words. Writing is a very solitary act, and it takes time to get published the traditional way. Time and rejection. But, in an online blog, you can get feedback on your thoughts and ideas almost instantly. I've written about all sorts of things, and I find that people care about what I write. Not because I try and think what other people are interested in, but because I write about what I'm interested in, and therefore can write convincingly. Of course, not every subject is a hit, but enough of them to know I have a readership.
If you mean is it worth it financially, I haven't been blogging on pay sites long enough to make an honest assessment. But, I would guess that an online blog would possibly be a supplement to income at most.
