They should be allowed civil unions, marriage, and happiness just like anyone else! This really erks me because I was led to believe this is the "Land of the Free". It's kinda like saying "yes you can have a piece of cake but not eat it", you can claim freedom but only to a certain extent and then we will decide on who you marry or love. What? When do we have the right to tell another person who they can or can not marry? When were we given the rights to judge one another? I thought that was God's job.
I am not gay or lesbian but I look at it like this, if this was my child, my brother, my sister, or any of my love ones I would only wish them happiness. Life is too short and if it's wrong for what one does leave it up to God to decide. It's time for us to quit judging and start fixing hatred in ourselves.
Everyone is different. There is not one person that is the same as another. We all have different feelings and emotions. We all love different. We all have different lives. It's time to move on and quit making this a question and or a debate. There shouldn't be a debate on ones life.
