so its not just the idea of a super-hero in the middle of modern day New York but it's just all the other bits of the film. The part where the shark appears you just start to think "oh come on, give us a break". Then the ending is even more ridiculous but by the time you get there you just feel that nothing is going to surprise you now.
I don't know why Uma agreed to do this film. In one of the special features she talks about her role and how exciting it was to play and how when she read the script she just kept laughing out loud. At this point my husband and I both looked and each other and said "Do you think she's talking about the same film!" I don't think she'll be putting this film down on her CV!
I just felt that the film was trying to be too much, it is part super-hero film and romantic comedy and for me it just didn't reach the target for either category. There were a few good laughs but the rest I found stupid rather than funny. Of all the super-hero films I've seen it has got to be the worst. However in the films defence I don't think it ever set out to compete with the likes of Spiderman or Batman. It's meant to be funny and it's meant to be silly and the second one in my opinion it does to perfection. I can't really recommend it to you but if you wanted to see a silly film then this might be just the one for you. I didn't hate the film but I certainly wouldn't watch it again.
*Special Features*
Well the special features in this film are a little poor (much like the film in general). There are some features showing the making of the film which is quite interesting and it shows how the special effects were done and talks with all the cast and there are some deleted scenes and a music video.

I really don't know why but I have this thing, I have a love for films who has certain actors/actresses in, and Uma Thurman
