Preferred treatment for celebs is like giving a baby candy to it will stop crying, it does nothing to deter the bad behavior but rather rewards it because they got what they wanted, attention and getting off easy. Honestly if the average person was in jail would they go home because of "medical reasons." If all someone had to do was get their doctor to call up to the jail and say they weren't feeling well and were on the verge of a break down there wouldn't be anyone in jail. The vary purpose of putting Paris in jail was to break her down and show her that she is blessed to have money and that she needs to come back to earth. Her complaints that she was scared of jail and that it would be to hard on her fell on my death ears. I'm sorry but since when was jail easy. Paris's breakdown or fear of going to jail should have been enough to deter her from drinking and driving in the first place. But it wasn't. Why? Because she like many other spoiled celebs live above the law and feel entitled to be treated different. Jail is hard, life is hard, and the "Simple Life" that Paris is living of constant partying and drinking sets a terrible example to young women who for whatever reason idolize her. While yes people who have mental problems need to be treated, why not treat Paris at a local hospital or even at the jail, after all the average criminal gets treatment there. Why can't her therapist come in a treat her there at the jail. Why? Simple because Paris lives past reality in the world of stardom. So instead of jail she gets to stay in her 4 bedroom home in L.A. While yes she must actually stay in the home she can do whatever she wants because she can pay to have everything delivered.
