Too Many Matthews
Me and Paul were into the wrestling
We used to watch it upstairs
Borrow videos off whoever had them
We didn't seem to care.
Poor old Matthew Svenson
We never gave Wrestlemania Seven back
The Ultimate Warrior versus Hulk Hogan
That was a classic match.
Svenson was revolting so we didn't care.
He looked like an undertaker and had short ginger hair.
Then there was dodgy Matt Fisher
The kid looked out the corner of his eye
Had to stand at 45 degrees to see you
How could you trust the guy?
Fell off his bike on the way to school and didn't turn up for hours,
The police got called but nobody saw him, 'til he rolled into the playground.
For some reason he'd fallen asleep in a ditch.
If it was anybody else, nobody would have believed.
Then there was little Matt Verroll
The kid pissed himself almost every day
Poor quiet guy would put his hand up to ask
The teacher never looked his way.
There was a piece of carpet over in the corner of the room,
Where we had to sit and listen to the teacher reading, every f*cking afternoon.
For some reason he always pissed in this spot.
It was uncomfortable at the best of times and stank when the weather was hot.
It's wrong to judge, I know,
But my school was such a freaky freak show,
Too many Matthews.
Too many Matthews.

He loved climb in' trees.
Hang in' from his knees

I'm a pirate at sea, and I think of you and me.
And I know you're not there, and even if you are you just wouldn't care.
