Prayer is more than saying you're sorry,
before you turn out your light.
Prayer is more than saying God bless Mum and Dad,
keep them safe through the night.
Prayer is more than asking for things,
for things that you want.
Prayer is more than empty words,
so much more.
Prayer is a beautiful thing,
a gift from God.
Prayer is personal communication,
with the living God.
Prayer is a powerful thing,
it really works.
Prayer is always answered,
if it's asked without selfish gain.
So pray to our Father in heaven.
He longs to hear your voice
and talk with you.
So pray and you'll see what I mean.
