marbles, and range in color from azure, aqua and green, to topaz and brown. Spring women blossom in the clear, warm, yellow undertones of budding new growth and fresh fruit tones of peach, apricot, and light, clear orange.

The neutral colors for spring are ivory, beige, golden tan and medium warm brown.
Her grey should be that of the dove, with a golden cast. Spring's navy is that of our Nation's sailors and it pairs beautifully with her poppy red.

Springs will glisten in periwinkle, cornflower and light true blue, as she will in light, warm aqua, bright aqua and turquoise. She is the only season that looks terrific in leaf and lime green. Buttercup, peach, apricot and light clear, sunny yellow will make her sparkle, as will peachy pinks, coral pinks and shrimp.

Springs will not be happy when their hair begins to gray. It will be a warm yellow grey and since all hair color has either red or gold undertoned dye, Springs can color their gray hair successfully and be all the happier for it.

Springs, being the eternal ingnues, retain a youthful quality even into old age and rarely lose the springiness' in their step or the happy twinkle in their eyes. Adorn her with real pearls, dainty gold jewelry to match her delicacy and highlight her skin, then stand back and observe. She is fresh, lively and breathtaking.

Spring celebrities include Meryle Streep, Julie Andrews, Sarah Jessica Parker and of course, the quintessential Spring, Marilyn Monroe. For male Springs, think of John Goodman and Ron Howard.

The Summer Woman

When Summer lies softly across the land, rainfall becomes less plentiful and dust settles on the pastel toned flowers in our gardens. Everything seems muted with either dusty rose, blue or grey overtones.

For Summer greens, we must look underneath the foliage to the deep blue green shadows. Magnolia trees and gardenia bushes also sport her shades of bluish-greens, as does the blue spruce. She is also good in the pure sea green shades of ocean water and the blues of the sky above. But summers really come alive in all the quiet traditional pastels, which play up the softness of her rosy pink to medium rose-beige skin.

Summer's hair can range from white blonde to almost black brown, but it will always retain a dusky quality. For this reason, Summers always feel a need to "brighten up" and may try dying their hair, which is a huge mistake. Her rosy complexion clashes with the often brassy' tones in hair color and anything in this orangey-gold' range is hideous
