Superman is clearly the more powerful, stronger, and faster of both he and Batman. This article will demonstrate how and why Superman would be the victor in such an unfortunate contest. After all they are both superheroes who's fictional goal is to battle evil.
-Superman spends less time worrying about concealing his identity. He seems to always have his superman suit on just underneath his clothes whereas batman has to get changed.
-Superman doesn't need tools to defeat his enemies they're built in. For example Superman has laser vision to open criminal's hide outs while Batman has to look for his special grappling hook and come in through a window or door. Superman's laser vision works faster than looking for a door and secure place for the Bat-Hook to stick properly.
-Superman has incredible strength and batman is merely human. This alone is enough to decide who would win.
-Superman can fly, batman can only glide. If on the off chance Batman were winning a fight between the two, Superman could easily fly away whereas batman would have to spread his bat wings and catch a breeze to get away. Also, finding the Batmobile takes a couple of minutes as Batman has to conceal it in a safe place because of its coolness. Superman doesn't need a car.
-Superman however is well practiced in dealing with smart people as his arch enemy Lex Luther is also smart so he knows how smart people work from experience. What's more if he does get into trouble Superman's cousin SuperWoman and Lois Lane might help him while Batman only has Alfred and in his later career Robin. What's more Robin is also only human and has no real super hero skills to speak of. Also, Alfred is almost geriatric.
Thus we have the reasoning behind why Superman would probably win a fight with Batman. The odds are stacked in Superman's favor and Superman's experience allows him to wisely deal with his weaknesses. Superman's incredible strength, master speed, laser vision, power of flight, ability to breath in space, quick change, and good friends clearly empower him as the likely victor in a conflict with Batman.
