particular white Cadillac passed by Bill, and suddenly, that all too familiar sense came over Bill that THAT car was the ONE. He chose to ignore his senses; preferring to wallow in his grief.
From somewhere in the back of his mind, a voice screamed at Bill "Go get it!" startled as if the voice came from within his patrol car, he looked around. The voice came back again, only this time, in a much harsher tone "GO GET IT! THAT'S THE ONE!". He barely remembered the vehicle, but could still see the tail lights as they began to drift out of sight.
Bill obeyed the commands, put his car in drive thinking to himself that he hadn't witnessed any violations, but would catch up with the car. He stepped on the gas, and trailed off after the Cadillac. As he neared the Cadillac, he observed more traffic, and the Cadillac ducking in between a truck and another small car for no apparent reason. As he closed the gap between his patrol car and the Cadillac, he observed the cap attempt to change lanes into the passing lane and then suddenly jerk back into the slow lane. At that time Bill knew he had a viable and legitimate reason for stopping the driver, so he did.

Initially, he thought he smelled marijuana, but dismissed it as an error. After all, what would an older gentleman driving such a nice car have to do with smoking marijuana? He advised the driver why he stopped the vehicle and that it was unsafe due to the circumstances, then requested the man's license and other documents.
As he accepted the documents, he noticed that the man seemed nervous, more nervous than what had come to be accepted as the norm to Bill. He decided he would try to calm the man. He decided that it would be a good way to wake the driver up by allowing him to get out of his car and let the warm breeze do it's magic in waking him up. It was 2 AM, the weather was nice, very little traffic, and the gentleman stated he was tired because he had been driving since he left the Gulf Coast.
Bill walked back to the rear of the vehicle, looking back to ensure that the red light on his in-car camera was on. The
