I didn't even know Coach purses existed until such an occasion where my boss asked me what I needed. They wanted to bring me back a gift from their vacation as a "thank you" for all my hard work. It was that or some dishes. I had a $5 ugly purse that was falling apart.

Upon proudly presenting me with a box that bore the name "Coach" they announced they got me what I wanted. I said "what kind of a purse comes in a box? How much did you spend!?!" I opened the box carefully and both bosses said "do not tell the other staff members we did this, it's because you go above and beyond." I agreed and hid the treasure away.

They went on to explain to me that their relatives had Coach purses that lasted 20 or more years. "20 years for a purse?" I thought. This couldn't be true! But it was true.

My purse was a black leather "saddle" type bag. I was so grateful they chose this particular make because it was definitely "me" and would go with anything, casual or more business type attire.

I was and continue to be proud to be carrying a Coach bag on my shoulder. It is definitely living up to its reputation. It's been two and a half years and I have not been gentle on this purse. It has no cracks, tears, marks or defects.

Looks superb, like the day I received it. It has more than enough storage space, pockets and a feature I love in any bag is a zippered pocket for your wallet. I like the magnetic closure on the front and the simple detail.

I also get more respect and eye contact from those that recognize I am carrying a coach. For me, it means better service in restaurants, boutiques and more respect on my job when I go into clients' homes and offices. It's a quick way to pull your entire outfit together.

If I ever do need another purse, it will definitely be a genuine Coach. No knockoffs allowed! It's not vanity, it's practicality. Think of it as an investment. You can buy 1 purse for 1 year or 4 lesser-quality purses in a year and pay the same amount over time.
