Where to get professional advice for drafting a will

by Paddy K

Writing a will can be as simple as just taking a paper and writing whaterver you want on it and just get it signed by 2 withnesses. The problem lies in the fact that you may not be aware of many of the small legal points which only a professional lawyer can help you.

But still whether that will is functional or not it will depend on the professional skills of the lawyer. Usually it is adviced to hire the services of a professional lawyer and of a financial expers if you will be complex, which involvs division of large estates, complex business arrangements.

If your will is straightforward involving just your sprouse and childen and division of simple property, then any lawyer who can draft a will can do.

How to find a lawyer is quite simple. If you have a family lawyer than you can engage him/her. Otherwise there are many companies online which provide professional services at a reasonable costs. The better way is ofcourse, get references from friends/relatives for a good lawyer.

Good Luck.
