Yes, very much so is marriage now and always will be sacred. Even with more than 50% of Americans going through a divorce,it's a wonderful thing to find that person God has for you to live the rest of your life with. It is sad that there are some people who take their marriage vows as a joke,so what they do is love you one day and love someone else the next. I truly feel that there are some people who take marriage as a serious union and try hard to deal with the problems married people have,like leaving the top off the toothpaste or spending an extra 50 dollars on some clothes. Understanding,that marriage is sacred I feel only people who know and have a relationship with God can truly see just how sacred marriage is. It is more than just having a sex partner,it is having someone who can see when you are feeling blue without you saying it and knowing when they look at you,you are ill and in need of attention. A sacred marriage is more than the ceremony it is the walk through life,you are going to have to take with this person and enjoy doing it. Marriage is still sacred to those who understand what it takes to have a good marriage (hard work). Finally. one day I hope to find that sacred partner God has for me.
