I live within my room,
it's like I live within myself.
I've got a thousand books
a ton of music on my shelf.

I'm afraid to go outside
because I haven't got a friend.
My life's a moving picture
though it's one without an end.

The days go by
I stay inside
So reality and dreamworld won't collide
If they did, then I'd crash down to the ground
I know that when life is over
The world keeps spinning 'round.

I live within a dream
because I make this world my own.
I've got noone to answer to
and like it here alone.

I'll never go outside
there's nothing there I need to see.
My life's already written
and I'll never be more free.

The days go by

Knowing when my life is over
my pages come unbound

I live the way I please
in a world inside my mind.
A universe expanding
truth and fantasy entwined.

I'll never have to leave
until the day I fall unthinking.
My life is like a star
a force unrivaled and unblinking.
