Brenda knew different! Being raised in a strick pentecostal household. She knew that there was a time to live and a time to die. But, the soul lives forever !
Brenda turns around and looks at Lisa seriously. " Maybe, I'm just not cut out to be a nurse Lisa." Brenda says as she hurries up with the computer work, so she can take Cherry out of the MRI and back to her room.
Lisa grabs Brenda's arm tight "If you believe so much in an afterlife, then why are you so sad about Cherry dying"?
"Maybe I don't think it is her time to leave just yet Lisa..I also believe in the power of Prayer..for Healing!"
"See there,I told you it wouldn't hurt!" Brenda tells Cherry as she is unfastening the straps off of her arms and head.
"But, I don't want to do this anymore, I just want to go home!" Cherry cried!
Watching the tears spilling down her beautiful little face was almost more than Brenda could stand
"This is breaking my heart", Brenda is thinking as she looks at Cherry's poor little face while noticing her beautiful hair is falling out bad now because the cap that was covering her head was full of her hair.
As she wheels Cherry back into her room, she notices that Cherry's mother wasn't there but there was another lady with long radiant blonde hair and the most beautiful humble looking eyes that she had ever seen while looking with so much love at Cherry.
"Cherry, is this your aunt? Do you know her?"
"No, I don't know her only that she is special" Cherry smiled and stared at this lady with a look of what ..."hope". Maybe this lady is someone from the Church group that her mother goes to, Brenda is now thinking.
Then the beautiful lady said "I was sent here to say a Prayer with you two" and she smiled. Taking both of our hands with her own, she then said.
"Lord, Please dear God, If it is your will, Please heal Cherry from this horrible cancer that has invaded her body. Please, dear God make her whole again. Lord, Please help Brenda to always remember this day and be the best nurse at this hospital Lord, In Jesus name ..Amen" She turns at looks tenderly at them both and smiles then walkes out the door.
Brenda starts feeling overcome with emotion, gasping she runs down the hall to the desk.
"Did you see that blonde woman that just left Cherry's room?" Brenda asks the nurse that was now monitoring the patients rooms
"What woman Brenda?" the nurse responds. "You know that Cherry's room is monitored by a camera 24/7 and no one but Cherry and yourself have been inside the room since you brought
