Navigating the journey of life

Most of us navigate life according to rules beaten into us by the media, our society, parents, friends and teachers. They embed into us from the youngest age, how we should think, what we should believe and distract us from the real purpose of life. In today's rapidly changing world, these conditioning's will get you nowhere. Well, not far enough for most at any rate.

I would dare say you are missing something. You want more out of life don't you? A new car, boyfriend, raise, etc. I would imagine you waving your fist at the person who just cut you off and totally losing your cool. You are out of control whether you know it or not.

The way to have the (IMHO) best experience of life is to treat it as an adventure in discovery, recovery (from your mistakes in thinking, beliefs, judgments and philosophy, not to mention taking risks. Right there you are probably doomed. Most I would dare say, do not take risks. Are you going with the program drilled into you from a young age?

Or, are you listening to your heart? There is a code upon which all life depends. When you deviate from that code, the result is discord, which can never bring you to peace. So to resolve your worldview to the most understandable part, your agenda in navigating this journey called life, is to listen for clues.

What clues you may ask. Let me remind you that you (usually) know when you are tire, thirsty, hungry, horny etc.. These are all clues. But what about your job security, your marraige, the people you work with. What clues are you getting from them. Are you worrried what they think of you? Do you make decisions based on pleasing them or honoring your inner calling?

What? You don't know about your inner calling? How could you not? You are always responding to stimului. The world you perceive around you is at every moment offering you choices, temptations, indications and feedback on what your next moves might be. How do you decide which path to follow? What food to eat? What friends to keep and which to leave behind on your adventure called life?

You must listen. You must hear the call of your heart! That my dear friend will reward you every time. Keep up a steady diet of listening to your souls calling, and I promise before long, you will be less stressed, more attractive, happier and healthier. Why, because you are no longer a victum of your mind! You are no longer a victure of what people say and think about you? You have escaped the growing up years with your life but what's it worth?
