This age old question has a very simple answer: Superman all the way. Superman's incredible strength and powers would be far too much for Batman and his wit to overcome. Even if Batman had the aid of Robin and Batgirl, Superman would prevail. Batman's only chance would be if he knew about Superman's weakness to kryptonite and had some available. This would be the ultimate cheap move and Superman may be able to work around it anyway if he had an idea it was coming.

Take a look at the villains they fought for proof of Superman's superiority. Could Batman ever fight Brainiac, Lex Luthor or multiple Kryptonians at the same time like Superman did? Not a chance. But could Superman win a fight against Joker, Penguin or Catwoman? He would not even break a sweat.

It simply is not realistic to expect a normal human, no matter how cunning he is and how many awesome gadgets are at his disposal, to be able to fight an alien with supernatural powers.
