I would agree on Whoopi Goldberg is very talented actress. I enjoy watching her but as a person, I don't know how to talk about her character. I have a nephew whose wish was to meet Whoopi Goldberg. My nephew has Spinal Muscular Atrophy and I called up Make a Wish for him, to see how to go about meeting his idol. And mind you he was only 5 or 6 years old at the time. He just adored her and Kyle talks all the time but when he would watch her movies. Kyle would just stop and be amazed by her. Kyle's wish was granted and he was able to meet Whoopi back in 1997. He had his picture taken with her and she was very sweet with Kyle. She even gave Kyle her favorite animal name Otis, Whoopi is afraid to fly and carries the animal on the plane. This was very sweet of her but the one thing I was not fond about is when you promise a child to write and keep in contact and the promise is broken. Then it does upset them, Kyle wrote her a couple of times and she never responded back. Kyle still likes her but he does wish he would have wished for something else instead of meeting his once upon a time idol. I do understand she is very busy and she does have tons of people around her all the time. And when you do you shouldn't promise a child something you can not keep this is all I am suggesting.Kyle has lived past the age expectancy for him and he new idols the older he becomes. I just know though he was very disappointed when his idol did not keep her promise.
