Most Americans require a dietary supplement. The sad truth of the matter is that our food no longer contains the same amounts of vitamins and minerals it once did. Fruits and Vegetables get their dietary value from the soil they are raised in. Due to over farming of the soil, it no longer contains the nutrients necessary to grow wholesome fruits and vegetables. The demand for food keeps growing as our population keeps rising. The land simply cannot keep up with the supply. Even if it could, how many of us eat the recommended servings of fruits and vegetables a day? Not many.
Our bodies require a certain amount of vitamins and minerals in order to function at optimal levels. Our immune systems, circulatory systems, digestive systems, cardiovascular systems, and every single organ, muscle, bone, and nerve in our bodies requires building blocks. These blocks come in the form of vitamins and minerals. If you remove a few key building blocks from a structure, the entire thing will collapse. Our bodies are no exception.
A dietary supplement helps to restore building blocks and reinforce the ones that are in place. This enables our bodies to fight off disease and injury. It also helps our bodies combat stress, one of the most ferocious enemies to our bodies and general health. People who have the necessary building blocks, or vitamins and minerals, are better able to avoid illness and recover from injury more quickly.
Anyone who is interested in preserving their health and well being should take a daily dietary supplement. The rewards are worth the monetary cost.
