Do you want to keep those hands looking fresh from the salon? Here are a few tips to help keep your nails looking great, and your hands soft.
First of all, make sure that you moisturize. Your manicurist spent a lot of time removing hangnails. Use a good cuticle oil to keep your cuticles and the area around your fingernails soft and supple. Make sure that you apply a good moisturizer after washing your hands.
About a week after you receive your manicure, apply another layer of a good topcoat. This will help keep your polish fresh. Also, wear gloves when cleaning. The harsh chemicals found in most household products will deteriorate the polish, and abrasives will rub it off. NEVER use your nails as tools. This will prevent breakage.
You spent the money to make your hands look and feel nice, follow these tips and you will keep them that way longer.
