Sometimes you will hear adults talk about how their children as they grow up need an "attitude adjustment",but what they don't realize is the world is having a bigger impact on teens these days.wanting to fit the American dream of a perfect girl, puberty, hormone development, peer pressure, theses kinda things cause the average teen to become stress more than usual,an complaining about their attitudes or punishing them might not be the answer EVERY TIME.It is important you are aware of the things that go on with your child and TO LISTEN.They need support while they are going through these stages in life where everything is new and they may not know how to deal with it all.Find ways to get in tune with their life's without seeming like the nosy parent because that will cause them to try to hide from you.now more than ever is the time to become a friend as well as a mother let them know what are bad choices, what experience you might have with a problem their experiencing presently, and how to cope with everything at once.you never know, by sitting down with your teen could help her relax more an deal with her issues without feeling lost, and alone in her fights.Even though their young and don't have the issues that normally stresses adults out like bills and responsibilities, helping them deal with the little drama/issues now can better prepare them for the future an the what the will come up against because then they will have experience and handle things the correct way.no body likes to feel left in the dark and lost.by listening to your teen instead of yelling an complaining can help the mood of everyone in your household.
