BEST EVER CHOCOLATE

3/4 CUP BUTTER SOFTENED
3 EGGS
2 CUPS ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
3/4 CUP UNSWEETENED COCOA POWDER
1 TSP. BAKING SODA
3/4 TSP. BAKING POWDER
1/2 SALT
2 TSP VANILLA
1-1/2 CUPS MILK
CHOCOLATE-SOUR CREAM FROSTING

Allow butter and eggs to stand at room temperature for 30 mins.Ligthy grease bottoms of twocake pans.Line bottom of pans with waxed paper.grease and lighty flour waxed paper set aside.Mix flour,cocoa,soda,powder and salt set aside.In large mixing bowl beat butter with electric mixer on med.to high speed for 30 sec.Gradually add sugar.about 1/4 c.at a time beating on med. speed for 2 mins.Add eggs,one at a time

beating after each one beat in vanilla.Alternally add flour mixture and milk,beating on low speed just until combined after each addition.Beat on med.speed for 20 sec.Spread batter into pans.Bake @ 350 degree oven about 35 to 40 mins.Cool cake layers in pans 10 mins.Peel off waxed paper,cool thoroughly on wire racks.

Chocolate-Sour Cream Frosting
In saucepan melt 2 c.semisweet chocolate pieces and 1/2 c.butter over low heat, stirring freguently.Cool 5 mins.Stir in one 8-0z.carton sour cream.Gradually add 4-1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar(about 1 pound)beating with electic mixer until smooth.
this frost tops and sides.cover and store in refrigerator.

this might look time consumeing but its real easy once u make this chocolate cake u wont go back to box.
