Disney World Marriott Resort is the best place to stay if you are on business or pleasure. This resort is centrally located to all of the fun and attractions in the Orlando, Florida area. Door-to-door you are located less than 7 miles from any of Disney's attractions. These include Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM, Animal Kingdom, Typhoon Lagoon, and the entertainment complex Pleasure Island. Also close by is the Cirque de Soleil show, currently the La Noubia show is going on.
The resort makes it easy to get in and out as you can either self park or for a small fee ($7.00) you can valet park. The valets are very personable and responsible. If you are particular with your car as I am the work "valet" can be pretty scary sometimes. From my experience the staff here really care and do a great job getting you in and out in record time.
If you are having business meetings you will have plenty space to conduct your meetings. This location has up to 400,000 square feet of flexible meeting space to meet your needs. Just ensure that you book early as this site is used as a major convention venue.
If you need a more intimate setting this resort houses 10 different restaurants that all have very polished and professional settings. Among these are the Ristorante' Tuscany, Hawk's Landing Steakhouse, Mikado Japanese Steakhouse, Solaris Restaurant, Champions Sports Bar, a food court area with various quick pick food items, interior lounges and a lounge bar veranda area outside. So if you have a casual meeting of just a few people or a large convention this venue can handle your every need for both space and restaurant arrangements.
There are also plenty of activities available at the resort if you decide to stay in rather than take the sites in around Orlando. There is a world class champion gold course named the Hawk's Landing Golf Club located right outside the front door. This is a par 71 course with 6,600 yards and a slope rating of 134. The course was designed by world renowned architect Robert E. Cupp II. If you forget any gear or just want something new the golf shop is well stocked to handle any need that may come up.
If your visiting the resort to get away from it all the spa is the place to visit first to melt away all the layers of stress.
