Those in between years can be a real pain in more ways than one . Categorized as the happiest days of your life but more often than not seeming anything but . With all the angst associated with teenage years the lack of funds adds to the stress .How can you make a little money if you are not quite old enough for a 'Proper 'job .

Most youngsters have tried baby-sitting and paper rounds but there are other alternatives . Why not start at home and negotiate a fee for doing extra tasks around the home . Fully spring cleaning the garage , down to hosing and painting would surely be worth a decent wage . After all Mum and Dad would need to spend ages doing it or pay an adult to do it for them .There are probably many larger chores which you could reasonably expect to get paid for at home .Likewise there may be relatives in the extended family who need things doing .

How about walking neighbours dogs and or bathing and grooming the dogs . There is usually a niche for these sort of jobs . People who have to work shifts may need someone to pop in and feed their pets plus sit with them for a while .

Restaurants often employ slightly younger workers behind the scenes to wash pots and tidy around , it's always worth inquiring .

It's always possible to advertise your labour on something like a store advertisement window or in a local newspaper . However take care as we all know there are many corrupt individuals around these days .

Many local butchers , markets and greengrocers still have Saturday morning helpers who are young . Some still have errand or delivery boys or girls .

If you check out your local area you are sure to find something which will appeal . However never sell yourself short . No matter what your age , if you are a good worker , you deserve a fair wage and fair treatment .
