What is wrong with this world?

What is wrong with this world?

The answer can be given in a short, succint, one word answer. Greed!

The root of every war, every attrocity, every injustice, every inequality or grievance, can ultimately be tracked to acts of selfish greed, whether it be by an individual, a group, or an entire country. Even many so called natural disasters and extreme weather conditions have been brought about by long term ramifications of human greed.

The need to compete and be dominant is a natural instinct in nature, and although humans have evolved to a level of philosophical intelligence that allows us to recognise that it is morally wrong to take advantage of those who are weaker than we are, the instincts to gain an advantage over our competitors in life is still present in everything we do.
