The Internet is continually evolving. Enter a general inquiry today and the response you get will be there next month along with an additional dozen or so new ones. Think of any subject and you can see where the Internet has had an impact. Yet it has only just got started. There are still many people who refuse to press the start button , but many more who have connected to the Internet via the dial up process. At the same time there are those of us who use a mouse and keyboard without wires and even run the Internet on networks of computers in the home through a wireless connection. We can access our personal computer using our mobile phone or laptop and instantly upload or download data and images. Already, the commercial, industrial and environmental applications are proving limitless and invaluable.

Thirty five years later we can transmit digital still and moving images across the world in the blink of an eyelid, not bad considering the world wide web was only born in 1990 when Tim Berner-Lee introduced HTML.
If the moon landing became achievable only seventy years into the evolution of flight, one can only wonder where Internet technology will be a century from now. After all it's not rocket science is it?...on second thoughts maybe it is... Beam me up Scotty!
