Never fear grooms-to-be, the tuxedo pick is just as much the bride's job as it is yours. As much as your fiance would like you to believe that she wants you to make the decision on your own, she has a very specific look in mind. After all, she has been planning this for some time. I would suggest planning a trip to the local tuxedo rental shop. Make sure that the bride is invited and the best man as well. This way you will get several opinions and the bride will still feel in control of the situation.

I am sure that many of you have heard endless complaints if your fiance is planning the wedding on her own. If so, you should take initiative to plan the fittings yourself, just make sure you let her in on them. Also, make sure that you are very specific with your decision. My husband and I picked a certain tuxedo, but wanted it a different color for our wedding. When the tux was ready for a final fitting, it was not at all what we had envisioned. We had to reorder everything.

Choosing a tuxedo should be one of the easiest tasks for the wedding. Just remember to make sure the groom and groomsmen are comfortable in what they are wearing and everyone will have a good time.
