Righteous Indignation
Ouch! That dumb dog bit me!
Oh, that dirty, rotten beast,
Thinking he can take a chunk
And on me have a feast.
Well, of all the brazen nerve,
That's what I have to day.
The neighbors here abouts, I think
Should be made to pay
For all the darn, lousy things
Their doggies run and do.
But then who winds up paying?
Poor little me, that's who!
Their dogs run wild up the street
Then back down again,
Howling, and barking and then
Scaring all the children.
But these owners are so nervy
They just do not care.
It makes me so darn mad I could
Pull out all my hair.
Oh, well, enough of this nonsense
No more foolish talk.
I must go and call my dog
Home from his morning walk.
