The Font Thing is a freeware for font organization with user-friendly GUI.

(1) Download
The Font Thing(version 0.8) can be downloaded from: http://www.download.com/The-Font-Thing/3000-2316_4-1519711.html.

(2) Install
Open the downloaded ZIP file and double-click the "SETUP.EXE" to install the software to your PC.

(3) How to Use?

1. When you open The Font Thing, it will show all of the fonts installed in your Windows Fonts folder (usually C:\WINDOWS\Fonts). And it use the famous sentence "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" to show the 26 letters of each font. So that you can get an intuitionistic impression of what the exact font looks like.

2. By default, The Font Thing will browse what is in your windows font folder. However, you can also browse other folders where contains fonts by clicking the "Browse" tab and go to that folder. Then, you can click the "Install" button to install certain font you like. And there'll be a little windows symbol next to the installed font right away.

3. To uninstall some font, find the font, and click uninstall. And the little windows symbol will also disappear.

So you can see The Font Thing is really powerful and easy to use. And it is free!
