Shakespeare is still to this day one of the best writers ever! He made up so many phrases that are still used today. He could say so much in just a few words that he would say or write. Many of the sayings that you hear or use yourself come from Shakespeare himself. I am sure that you would be surprised at a few of the expressions that you read below and know they came from him. So read on and realize what a way Shakespeare had with words.

These are some of the saying that I myself have used and heard over the years. So when you yourself or your children are learning about Shakespeare this is why. He was a great poet and deserves every amount of respect that he is given. Without him we would have missed out on many great films and poems.
Just to think that William Shakespeare has been gone for since April of 1616 and his writings still earn praise around the world is spectacular! To this day we still use his words in many ways and they continuously remake his films. Without a doubt Shakespeare is the most quoted writer in the literature and history of the English speaking world!
