Alex Ferguson is the most lucky man to be around as Manchester United manager till to-day.On domestic fronts I have no qualms on his success . A club of MU status should have won more than one Champion League under his management .This is a very poor return considering his 18 years involvement with the club as compared to Raffa Benitez 's 3 years tenure at Liverpool reaching two finals winning one and lose one in this year final.

It is hard for me to understand why he has not able to add on to the 1999 Champion League win after beating Bayern Munich in that final.At that point of time players like Scholes,Giggs,Nevilles,Butt,Be ckham to name a few were not at their peak yet.These are the 'future' players then but sadly Ferguson did not capitalize on it.This is to show his poor judgment and lacking in direction to sustain the momentum.Alas this year he failed yet again to deliver with his so-called third team.

I wonder if any other manager would have the time and luxury as Sir Alex have.Next year would be his final chance for him to put it right . Otherwise Manchester United is just another flash in the pan Champion of Europe.
