when the situation ever happens best thing to always have both hands on the steering wheel. Don't panic brake depending on which location the blowout occurred if its on the rear wheels slowly decel the engine power so the vehicle slows down on its own power and apply the brake easily so no attempt that locking up the wheel is possible. And slowly pull over to the shoulder where it is possibly safe.If the blowout occurs in the front wheel depending on which side of the car the steering wheel is going to pull toward the tire that is deflating at a rapid force.Maintain good control with the steering wheel and steer the vehicle in a safe direction to the shoulder of the road. Now depending on road conditions and safety of others if a exit is close by exit the highway to stay out of way of fast moving vehicles. A bad wheel is more cheaper to replace than my life and the safety of my family.
