items especially if they are used often. Similarly, keyboards with a plastic key protector may also have less of a compounding affect on the finger tips. Anywhere where this is contact with the hands, consider the implications of adjusting how this contact is made to prevent hands from becoming hard.
STEP II: HAND TREATMENTS AND METHODS TO IMPROVE HAND TEXTURE
Picking a hand cream may take some time. A part of the trick in picking a hand cream are the ingredients. If there are more chemicals in the hand cream than there are in the household products that helped damage your hands in the first place it may not be the right cream for you. There are some effective brands with a few natural ingredients like cocoa butter, collagen, vitamin E, water, elastin, aloe Vera and essential oils that could work very well.
If it is age that is causing our hands to roughen, hand massages, and further nutritional adjustments and water intake may be of assistance. The more hydrated one is, the more robust are cells become. This can make itself apparent in the skin as water is a very essential ingredient in the body. Doctors recommend drinking eight cups of water a day for good reason, hydration is important and it shows!
In the case of bad sun damage has caused our hands to redden and peel and even wrinkle over the years. Sometimes the effects of sun damage can be irreversible but sometimes we can prevent from happening at all or getting worse. Sun screen and protective clothing can be useful in preventing hands from getting worse, however in cases where the damage is already done, a visit to the doctor, laser therapy and possibly even plastic surgery may help. Some of the methods of hand treatment are listed below:
*Exfoliation
*Gentler skin care products with less chemicals
*Wax treatment and dips
*Specialized creams for rough hands
*Laser, temperature and/or moisture therapy
*Natural and non-drying soaps, and hand washing ingredients
*Ergonomic and hand friendly products
SUMMARY:
The more we know about our hands and how to make them softer the better. Keeping working hands soft involves preventative measures and curative techniques to both lessen factors that damage hands and increase actions that benefit the hands thereby helping them becoming softer and smoother. Everyone's hands are different and people may respond differently to the same hand treatment regimens. By identifying what causes and treatments one's hands respond to best, one can handle the problem on two fronts thereafter increasing the odds of improving our hands appearance and making the look and feel softer.
