White Russian

White Russian is made with vodka, coffee liqueur (Kahla or Tia Maria) and full cream milk. The difference between White Russian and Black Russian is the full cream milk.

Serve In : Highball Glass (8 oz) as shown above
Type : Alcoholic Drink
Serves : 1

1 fl oz (25 ml) vodka
1 fl oz (25 ml) Tia Maria or Kahla
1 fl oz (25 ml) full cream milk
6 ice cubes cracked

Place half the cracked ice cubes in a cocktail shaker. Pour the vodka, Tia Maria or Kahla and full cream milk. Shake to mix well.
Strain over highball glass(es) filled with the remaining cracked ice cubes.
Serve with a straw.

TIP:

Tia Maria is a coffee-flavored liqueur derived from an original Jamaican recipe.
Kahla is also a coffee-flavored liqueur.

Another way to make a white russian:

White Russian

1 oz vodka
1 oz Kahlua
2-3 oz cream or half & half
1 c ice

Fill cocktail glass with ice, add vodka, Kahlua, and cream. Serve with a stir stick or straw.
