First off, what is networking? According to the Websters Dictionary: a supportive system of sharing information and services among individuals and groups having a common interest. Networking with individuals could refer to anything, such as business officials, customers (generally most important), friends and family. In today's fast paced world communication is the greatest advantage any entrepreneur can have over another. The larger your network is the more potential customers your business will serve.
Customers are the basis of every business known to man. The key to increasing sales with networking is quick and thorough communication between company officials and customers. When customers see the extensive effort you are presenting they will tell their best friend how excellent the service was at your business. Then their best friend visits your business and receives the same service. After this, your new customer will tell their friends about the amazing experience they had with your company. If you do this I promise you that your business will grow. I must warn you that this goes both ways. If a customer receives awful service your business will decline.
