'Mr Paint it'
Mr Paint it, funny name. Extremely funny fellow.
Opens up a tin one day and finds it's canary yellow
But Mr Paint it loves to paint but over the top he goes.
Having done the job in hand his paint tin will not close.
So off he struts with a brush in a rush as it drips all over his feet.
It clearly shows how painting toes can never be discreet.
With tin half full he dutifully paints across his fridge.
He paints a fly that's flying by and brushes over a midge.
The carpet rug, the model tug, the pictures on the wall.
The light bulb shade, the chair he made, the vases large and small.
The bread bin tin the slices in, the cheese the cornflake box.
The cutlery, the lavatory, the plastic model crocs.
The toilet roll the china doll but now he's in the garden.
With brush going fast he paints a mast and waits for it to harden.
The shrubs the trees all round his knees the pond the wall the shed.
And just in time the washing line, then paints his neighbour Fred.
A tussle in the garden starts and Fred gets a yellow shoe.
With Mrs Fred jammed in the fight and screaming boo-hoo-hoo.
He threw the empty tin away, yes painting was a lark.
Then ran to get the red paint tin and start before it's dark.
His house is nicely decorated, yellow through then hid.
I wonder how he used the red tin.
"Hope he never did.
