I am moonbeam'
I am a hopeless moonbeam.
Hopeless.
I have no motion. Yet I am reflected across the dark landscape.
So still, only the moons gravitational pull upon the waters surface
Reveals that I am there against the now hushed lake. It is nightfall.
Hopelessly I remain.
A moonbeam shot out across the vastness of space towards the
Resting, sleeping, planet earth.
I am unconcerned about who might gaze upon my seemingly oracular
Brilliance.
I am trapped here. Soon to be forgotten. Always here dancing upon
Ripples until morning, then the suns power will fade my nocturnal
Habitat. My haven will diminish in its blinding solar flare
I am hopeless. I am helpless.
I am moonbeam.
