All alone in this big world,
Sadness, darkness, and misery,
Every door I try to open is locked,
When all I want to do is get my foot in.
I will never be smart enough, pretty enough, or skinny enough,
I will never have enough money, or that dream job,
There are obstacles I must always face.
As I sit alone and stare out the window,
Feeling the warm sun shine in on me
Trying to find a way to escape from
this situation.
Fear of moving forward,
Fear of going back,
Fear of the unknown
is always a deciding factor,
Knowing, wanting to know,
What is in the great big world
for me and my destiny.

around my finger is the promise, no joke.
I took it serious as so many do, did
