Making money on the internet

The 7 crucial steps to start a successful on-line business.

This is yet another article on making money on the Internet.

So, have you made any money on the Internet yet?
The answer to this is probably no... why?

The reason people are not making money on the Internet is because of information overload. Information overload occurs when there are so much contradictory information out there that it's hard to know which information to trust.

Most of you, probably came across a sales letter that promises you the world.
In almost 90% of the cases, haven't made a dime themselves. There are only a handful of marketers on-line actually does make money.

Let me give you the secrets to success when trying to make money on-line.

1. Create value for the market - this means creating your own product that provides major value to the market. Not your everyday product.

2. Forget about concentrating on digital products. There are more money made on-line by selling physical products, like herbal supplements, then any other product besides pornography.

3. Promote other companies' products. This means becoming an affiliate. An affiliate is somebody who gets paid a commission for referring somebody to a product of an merchant. The affiliate is paid according to a certain commission structure.

4. Get employees to help you. Trying to do everything alone is a death sentence. If there is one tip that I can give you it is this one. You should run an on-line business like any other business, which includes employees that help run your business on a day-to-day basis. If you're having trouble getting employees, try getting contact with like-minded people that share your views on making money on-line. Go to the bank and try to get a credit line set up. This way you can pay your employees at the end of the month, while only paying back the bank at a later date. You can try to convince them to work for free until the profits come in, in which they will all share.

5. Definitely get your own website as well as a Blog. It should be updated constantly with unique content. Content should be added on a regular basis.

6. Build a customer base. This means capturing customers names and e-mail address on websites or a Blog. E-mail marketing is one of your best money generating marketing tools there are.

7. Off-line promotion is just as important as on-line promotion. Many marketers only concentrate on off-line promotion, which is a very very big mistake. It can take years before on-line promotion gets to the level of off-line promotion, when it comes to driving visitors to a location. Off-line promotion includes, sending out advertisements to local addresses (can be done cheaply by using a list broker) and advertising in magazines, newspaper or even the radio.
