Here we go again; "How to reduce human water consumption." Human?, what, do we kill off all the animals so we can have all the water for only humans? Again I ask, "Why doesn't the scientific community work to change the " Rejection", of too much salt for humans, other animals, and plants,to "Acception". So we can use the 2/3rds of our world that is covered by the waters of the sea, and stop worrying about the dwindling amount of fresh water we have left now?
OK it doesn't hurt to use our consumption of water more wisely, but people, I would like to politely point out," WAKE UP", THE WORLD IS COVERED BY 2/3RDS OF WATER, SOME PLACES OVER 3 MILES DEEP, USE IT!" The Wetlands are Disappearing, the Seas are Rising and Land areas are Disappearing. So lets Drain the Seas back to an Acceptable Level. Drink it! Bathe in it! Water our Plants and Lawns with it! Fill our Swimming Pools and Fountains with it!
Until we can Adjust our Bodies to Salty Water, Take the Salt Out of the Water. Use the Extra Salt like Sand in Construction Materials. That way the salt won't soak into the ground and cause problems with the Eco System. We got All Kinds of Water, Use it!
Why not do studies of how the Eco System will be affected if we use just 1/4 of a Mile of the Whole Seas? Thats a Hell of a Lot of Water for a Hell of a lot of Years! So you Worriers of Conservation of Fresh Water Supplies, Get On Your Congressional Personnel and Have Them Put Pressure on the Scientific Community, and Get Them to Work On It! We Need Water?, Use the seas!
You hear so much of going to other worlds. "The Stars are the thing!" What the heck are we going to do on those worlds, if we can't even control the resources on the one we live on now? "Water, Water, Everywhere, and not a Drop to Drink." Says who? Why isn't there drinkable water everywhere? Has anyone ever took a voyage over the ocean? When you were out in the middle of it with no land in sight, did you think there was no water?
There are Mountains under the sea Higher than Mt Everest. Thats Pretty Darn Deep to Me! "1/4 of a Mile", taken from All the Area of the Seas, compared to "Three Miles or More". Think of how much water that would be and how long it would Last!
Aren't there any other Students or Professors of Earth Science out there who can reply to my articles about "Using the Seas for Water"? I would like to hear from Anyone what they Think of my Ideas. Any Takers?
