Another bonus for those who do their banking at Bank Of America is their savings accounts and plans. With any of the four checking accounts you can open a savings account. The bank will withdrawal a minimum of $25. each month on a specific day and deposit it in to you savings account.
My personal experience with Bank of America was not a pleasant one for me. When I open my checking account I was "bullied" in to opening the combined savings account as well. What they did not tell me was they charge a $7.00 a month fee on the savings account and it's nearly impossible to withdrawal the money from this particular savings account. I ended up closing my account, four months after I got it and lost all the money in my savings account, which was a $100. minus the $24. in fees. I could have fought with them about it, but I was moving and had to many other things to deal with at the time.
If you do not want a savings account stand your ground!
