Giving Joyful Praise To God in Your Time of Trouble Will Bring You Out!
Many of us can give thanks and be happy when things are working out in our favor, but what about when the table is turned against us? We have been trained to get upset, curse or cuss someone out because of something that they did wrong to us. Hello!
If you can remember what the Lord told Abraham in the Book of Genesis chapter 12 and verse 3 from the Amplified Bible.
Genesis 12:3 And I will bless those who bless you [who confer prosperity or happiness upon you] and curse him who curses {or} uses insolent language toward you; in you will all the families {and} kindred of the earth be blessed [and by you they will bless themselves].
God said the He (not man or your job, come on now) will bless YOU, and He will curse those who speak against you. So stop worry about what people say about you. Pray for them and speak blessing upon those so you will not get hit the curse from God. Remember what Apostle Paul said about praying and being a blessing to the body of Christ and your enemies in the book of Romans chapter 13 verses 13-21.
Romans 12:13 Contribute to the needs of God's people [sharing in the necessities of the saints]; pursue the practice of hospitality.
Romans 12:14 Bless those who persecute you [who are cruel in their attitude toward you]; bless and do not curse them.
Romans 12:15 Rejoice with those who rejoice [sharing others' joy], and weep with those who weep [sharing others' grief].
Romans 12:16 Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty (snobbish, high-minded, exclusive), but readily adjust yourself to [people, things] {and} give yourselves to humble tasks. Never overestimate yourself {or} be wise in your own conceits.
Romans 12:17 Repay no one evil for evil, but take thought for what is honest {and} proper {and} noble [aiming to be above reproach] in the sight of everyone.
Romans 12:18 If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
Romans 12:19 Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave the way open for [God's] wrath; for it is written, Vengeance is Mine, I will repay (requite), says the Lord.
That is very powerful and I have seen Gods wrath hit a couple of people that I know, lets continue..
Romans 12:20 But if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals upon his head.
Romans 12:21 Do not let yourself be overcome by evil, but overcome (master) evil with good. Amen
This is the time of joyful prayer
