When it comes to alcoholic beverages, a good shot of Crown Royal cannot be beaten! After all it represents loyalty from the Purple Bag and Golden Seams to the "Crown" lid on the bottle.

Crown Royal adds life to any party and goes down ever so smoothly compared to most "house" whiskeys or bourbons. For me, Crown Royal soothes the tongue and stomach both with an invigorating crisp taste without a bitter or lingering taste such as with Jack Daniels or other comparable drinks in this class.

If you are looking for a nice cheaper whiskey, I highly recommend Kessler. This very inexpensive brand states "Smooth as Silk" on the label from the founder Julius Kessler himself. I have never met the man, but suppose he might be one to stretch the truth a little when it comes to smooth! Kessler is a favorite of mine, but to compare the taste to silk is a bit of an exaggeration. But for bang for your buck or buck for your bang, I say bottoms up to all the whiskey drinkers ranging from the high end Crown to the lower end Kessler! Cheers!
