Poetry: Beauty

by Ed Ehren

Created on: May 25, 2007

Blond locks that gold mimic
Beauty that seems to have no limit
A touch that the privileged view as quite flawless
And that the troubled claim brings them strange solace
Shy eyes that beg seclusion to stay
Hiding in public,as night does from day
A beautiful face that sires a grin
And subsequent smiles that dwell deep within
Soft breaths of distinction caught in a breeze
Embody perfection one's mind just can't seize
Poems are written,stories are told
Talked of by one's that she wishes to hold
For while beauty is something in which to take pride
It's seldom a friend in which to confide
