Poetry: The Earth

by Patrick Kenworthy

Created on: May 25, 2007

Warming!

Around the world they spit and spew,
Chimneys high respect for few,
Lorries belch smoke and gas,
blackened skies back ot last,
People weary short of breath,
the planets dying, a slow death!

The trees that make our oxygen
are pulped for the next edition,
Ice that melts makes oceans swell
governments tell us all is well,
a time will come when winters gone
our time on Earth will then be none!
