Of course there are many things people do when they are driving. The car provides an arena for certain things that should be done on your own, singing being a good example. The car provides a perfect place to sing without annoying family, friends, pets or neighbors. The car in many instances is an extension of the home. I have seen many a person use it as a kitchen, eating breakfast on the way to work. The ubiquitous coffee cup is now also a common item in the car. The back seat has often been used by couples as a 'bedroom' for romantic sessions. Lately the car has also become a theater with DVD players allowing kids to watch their favorite movie rather than asking 'are we there yet?'
These days the car is more than just a mode of transport, it is an extension of the home and an integral part of our daily lives. It is a rare day that the car is not taken out for a run. Hence, it is no surprise to see some of the things people do when they drive.
